About Miss Cox
Welcome to my class website!
My name is Hannah Cox! I am very excited to be your child's teacher this year! This is my 13th year teaching. I have also taught first grade. We always have a good time! The children learn a lot, and they are just so much fun! They are eager to come to school, and they are always so loving!
I grew up in Boonville, North Carolina. I am a product of Yadkin County Schools. I graduated from Starmount High School in 2008. Then, I received my Elementary Education degree from East Carolina University in 2012. Upon graduating, I began teaching at Courtney Elementary school in first grade. I have been here ever since! I received my National Board Certification in December 2018. I graduated with my Masters degree from North Carolina State University in May 2022! I also obtained my Reading Specialist certification.
Our classroom is a safe place to grow, learn, and make friends. I absolutely love watching my students grow each year! My door is always open to questions, and volunteers. I want you to be involved in our classroom!
